Welcome to the Queens Park Theatre for an exciting 2015 season!

The Queens Park Theatre was officially opened in 1982, and over 30 years on, the theatre remains a local landmark with the ambition to continue to provide high quality entertainment of all genres for the Geraldton and wider community to enjoy.

Last year was hugely successful for the Queens Park Theatre. We saw an amazing array of talent through the theatre’s doors including local schools and bands, as well as a number of nationally and internationally acclaimed performers including popular Australian singer-song writer Missy Higgins, the internationally renowned Russian National Dance Company, Aussie comedian Dave Hughes, the multi Grammy award winning Soweto Gospel choir and Shakespeare classic Henry V presented by Bell Shakespeare, just to name a few!

The 2015 Season is already looking amazing, with over 30 exciting performances confirmed, including comedy, drama, physical theatre, live music and shows for the whole family to enjoy. In addition, there are a number of exciting audience engagement activities planned, including the introduction of the Australian Chamber Orchestra Music and Art Program into the local, Leaning Tree Community School and school workshops planned with various touring acts.

It would be impossible to provide such a program without the support of the City of Greater Geraldton and our major sponsors the Western Australian Department of Culture and the Arts, Lotterywest, GWN 7, WAfm, Healthway and the West Australian Newspapers – we thank you for your continual support.

The Queens Park Theatre team sincerely hope you enjoy the 2015 Season and continue to laugh, cry, and everything in between at the performances presented!
