Quartet for the End of Time.
Composed In 1941 while Olivier Messiaen was a prisoner of war and premièred by his fellow inmates in Stalag VIII-A, the magnificent and moving Quartet for the End of Time will be performed by a special ensemble comprising UWA staff and special guests. Graham Gilling (piano), Ashley Smith (clarinet), Margaret Blades (violin) and Melinda Forsythe (cello).
